Sad Day For Aggies – Retired Texas A&M Mascot Reveille VII Died Thursday After Emergency Surgery
Retired Texas A&M mascot Reveille VII passed away Thursday morning after undergoing emergency surgery at A&M’s Veterinary Hospital. The surgery was meant to repair a hole in her digestive tract, but complications following the procedure made it necessary to euthanize her.
Reveille the VII was 12 ½ years old (in human years). The adorable Rough Collie served as A&M’s mascot from 2001 to 2008.
