Richard Anton Carrillo, a 40-year-old former business manager from Salado is facing two counts of indecent assault in Bell County Jail, against two sixteen-year-old female employees.

Initial Allegations Emerge

According to a press release by the Salado Police Department, one of the girls reported Carrillo, in the Salado Police Department, on June 10, 2025, for sexual harassment, stating that Carrillo had made repeated unwanted sexual comments, touching, threats, and intimidation. The pattern by Carrillo was simply to make the environment inappropriate or unsafe.

Arrest and Charges

The police ultimately produced an arrest warrant for Carrillo after further investigation found enough evidence on July 13, 2025. Indecent assault is classified as a Class A Misdemeanor in the state of Texas, thus making it a higher ranking concern. Carrillo was arrested and booked into Bell County Jail with a bond of $10,000.

Second Victim Comes Forward

As the Salado Police Department was investigating the case, a second teenage victim came forward who had a similar set of activities attributed to Carrillo. After interviewing this second victim, Salado police were able to produce a second separate arrest warrant for another count of indecent assault. The second warrant executed by police served to Carrillo while he was already in jail, and thus served another $10,000 bond for a total of $20,000 for both counts.

Ongoing Investigation

At this time, Salado police have not released the business name of Carrillo's employment, nor does any other information exist about this case as it develops and continues to be actively investigated. They stated that they could not release any information regarding that at this time.

Police Commend Victims and Seek Information

In the press release, police commended the victims for their bravery and encouraged anyone knowing of further information about Carrillo to fine see it through by contacting the Salado Police at (254) 947-5681. They also made them clear they were not going to be releasing any further identifying information about anyone due to the ages of the female victims.

As of Monday, Carrillo is still in jail in Bell County and an official arrest affidavit has not been released.
