If you need some documents shredded, gather them up and head to Temple.

In cooperation with Kwik Kopy, RW Lone Star Security, and HolyTrinity Catholic High School, the city of Temple will be hosting a Secure Shred event.

It'll take place at Holy Trinity High School, 6608 W Adams Ave, on the Great America Cleanup/Earth Day this Saturday, April 22nd. The shredding will begin at 9 a.m. and go till Noon.

You may bring up to 5 banker boxes of documents. Businesses and residents are encouraged to take part.

Also this Saturday, the City of Temple Solid Waste Department invite you to bring in used motor oil, antifreeze, and air filters to the Solid Waste office at 3219 Bullseye Lane for recycling. You can also recycle cooking oil at the same location.

Remember, recycling cooking grease will help prevent build up in the water lines.

For more information you can contact the City of Temple Solid Waste Services at 254-298-5725, or curbsiderecycling@templetx.gov.
