Sex Offender Arrested Again for Molestation

Previously convicted child sex offender Leonard Mike Penley was arrested Thursday on a charge of indecency with a child by contact.

Penley was arrested after a 14-year-old girl reported that a man touched her breasts and genitals through her swimsuit while she was swimming in a private home pool.

Penley was indicted and convicted in 2012 on a similar charge and placed on probation. Documents in that case indicate that the girl had been given alcohol and pills and reported Penley had been molesting her for several years.

Penley's bond has been set at $75,000, but he did not appear on the Bell County Jail log as of Friday morning.
