You already know that listening to US 105 is a great way to score tickets to Six Flags Over Texas. Great news! Now you'll be able to use the tickets you win all year long beginning in 2020!

The Thrill Capital of Texas will switch to year-round-hours in 2020 and they'll also be unveiling a brand new ride! AQUAMAN: Power Wave will become the parks 15th coaster and will send riders backward and forwards up two 148 foot track towers before sending them straight down at 63 miles-per-hour towards an ultimate splashdown! Check out the demo in the video below!

AQUAMAN: Power Wave’s highlights include:

  • First water coaster of its kind in North America;
  • Top speed of 63 miles per hour;
  • Launch-style water coaster will suspend riders in a 90° angle before hurtling them across the more than 700 feet of track; and
  • This is the park’s 15th coaster.

The ride looks like the perfect fix for a 99 degree summer day in Texas! Now, did you catch what we said about a year-round operation? Yes! Six Flags Over Texas will be announcing weekend, holiday, and special dates in January and February expanding the park to one that is open year-round!

We've got one more surprise for ya as well. Hurricane Harbor will be adding an all-new slide complex called the Banzai Pipeline. This new feature includes three slides with multiple twists, turns, and drops down a four-story tower!
