Y’all Ready to Party? 10 Sounds of a Texas Kid’s Birthday
Children's birthday parties aren't just fun for the kids, but they are a blast for everyone in attendance. In Texas, just like everything else, the birthday parties are always bigger and better.
Choosing a Texas Trampoline Bash
My daughter, Billie, is turning four-years-old this month, and we have fun day planned for her and her friends at one of the trampoline parks. We were drawn to the idea of hosting the party at an indoor amusement center not only because of all the fun bouncy things the kids can play on, but also because the additional staff makes it easier to wrangle 10 - 15 kids that are hopped up on candy, cake, and ice cream without losing our minds!
The Texas Birthday Experience
We moved to Texas when Billie was only six months old, so even though she wasn't born in here we have celebrated all of her Birthdays in the Lone Star state. Over these past few years, I've started to realize that even when it comes to children's birthday parties Texans somehow seem to stand out from all the other states in the country. It doesn't matter if it's about the food, the weather, or a father telling his 3-year-old that he "better look him in the eye shake his hand like a man" you are bound to hear some things at a Texas birthday party that you won't hear anywhere else.
Without further ado, here are ten of the most common things you're likely to hear at a Texas kid's birthday party:
