At 11:15 a line of storms was moving at 35mph along a line from Evant to Copperas Cove. This storm was producing 60mph wind gusts according to local radars. This could cause some damage to trees, shingles, or even rooftops in locations including Killeen, Copperas Cove, Belton, Fort Hood, Nolanville, Harker Heights, Salado, Little River-Academy, Holland, Evant, Mother Neff State Park, Oglesby and South Mountain.

If you are traveling I-35 late this evening you will want to use extreme caution between mile markers 278 and 298. These storms will likely impact drivers in this area as it passes.
