Daylight Saving TIme

House Bill 1393, which would leave Texas on Daylight Saving Time ... DST is summer, in winter it's standard time ... year round, passed the Texas House of Representatives but it's not law yet.

Europe is the only high concentration of Standard Time deniers and if we ended DST, they would all probably think the Earth was flat again.

Texans could vote on Daylight Saving Time.

United States Senate has approved a proposal to make daylight saving time permanent. If passed in the House and signed by President Biden, we would never have to set our clocks back an hour again. The only problem? Standard time will go away forever!

I know I'm way out in front of this but anytime someone says we are getting an extra hour of sleep, I'm all ears.

Longer days and shorter nights are on the way as we prepare to "spring forward" this Sunday at 2 AM.

The word is out about Daylight Saving Time this weekend, but even more important than changing your clocks is checking your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Changing the batteries once a year ensures things are working they way they should be and it keeps that annoying chirp from waking you up in the middle of the night...

I think the real question here is: does Texas need it?
