Granite Shoals PD put out a hoax post on Facebook about Meth and Heroine contaminated by Ebola. This one woman - clearly worried about her health - fell for it.

Time magazine has named Ebola workers as its Person of the Year for 2014 for "tireless acts of courage and mercy" and exposing the vulnerabilities of the global healthcare system.

Nina Pham, the second Dallas, Texas healthcare worker to contract the Ebola virus, has been declared Ebola-free by doctors at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

Health officials removed 43 Texas residents from active monitoring for the Ebola virus at midnight Monday, giving them the all-clear.

Belton Independent School District superintendent Dr. Susan Kincannon released an email to students' parents this evening announcing that all Belton ISD schools would be open on Monday. Read the full letter, below.

Belton ISD Superintendent Susan Kincannon was one of four officials updating the public Thursday afternoon on the developments in the Ebola connection that's force the closure of three Belton schools.

Twenty-four hours ago I couldn't have told you the name of the 2nd nurse in Dallas to contract Ebola.  I couldn't give you any information on where she'd been, who she'd come in contact with, or even her name.  That changed by the time I hit the 3rd paragraph.

Shepard Smith captured the news spotlight yesterday with his reasonable and logical reporting on the two health care workers in Dallas that are now in treatment for the Ebola virus.

Belton ISD sent an email to parents Wednesday evening at 8:57pm informing them of a change in the attendance status of two district students that were on the Frontier Airlines flight from Cleveland to Dallas that also carried the nurse now being treated for Ebola.
