Target has pulled from its shelves a Father's Day card that reads 'Baby Daddy' on the front. A customer who came across it in a Texas Target store got the word out about the offensive card, and the company has issued an apology.

The card was distributed by a company called American Greetings to several stores including Target stores. They have released a statement saying they will "do better" moving forward. The card is found offensive as "baby daddy" is a term that implies a dead-beat parent according to social media user Takeisha Saunders of Dallas.

Many on social media agreed with Saunders saying whomever created the card had no idea what the term really implies. Target has pulled the card from store shelves.
