Temple ISD and the Temple Public Library are scaring up a fun Halloween!

Temple ISD’s Trunk or Treat

Celebrate Halloween safely this year with the Temple ISD “Trunk or Treat” event Thursday, October 30th in the Santa Fe Plaza. The 4p to 7p event is free and open to the public. Costumes are cool but not required.

Temple ISD’s Trunk or Treat Has Something for Everyone

According to the Temple ISD Facebook post, more than 20 booths will offer different activities and free candy. A drone area, bounce house and face painting are some of the planned activities. The Temple Elementary School choir and the Temple Middle and High School Jazz Bands will perform. A DJ will also be on site.

Yes. There Will be Food

All that Halloweening is sure to make ghosts and goblins hungry, so hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided at no charge. Food trucks will be on site and Wildcat spirit gear can be purchased on site as well.

The Temple Public Library's Halloween

Friday, October 31st from 3-5pm, the littles can Trick or Read at the Temple Public Library. According to a post on the Temple Public Library’s facebook page, students will have storytime with TISD librarians with trick or treating to follow. Children and families can enjoy not-so-spooky take-and-make crafts and Halloween goodies on the first floor, while adults can explore materials on the second floor and receive a special Trick-or-Read treat bag. Costumes are encouraged. While the students are entertained, parents will receive real tips and tricks on how to support reading at home.

Supernatural Saturday at the Temple Public Library

For the older goblins, the Temple Public Library is hosting ‘Supernatural Saturday” on October 25th from 1p-5p. Local authors will share scary stories, and paranormal investigator John John Montelongo will discuss spooky encounters in Temple. This 18+ event will also include mocktails and seasonal treats.
