Everybody needs a place to live in the state of Texas. It could be small or big wherever a person lives in the Lone Star State. But for the state, homes have taken a lead nationwide for their recent design.

How Quickly Is Texas Building Homes?

The Lone Star State, due to the fact that many people are making their way to the state, is making waves. Per Hampson Properties, the state "authorized 17.9 new units per 1,000 homes in 2024." So there's a lot of building going on in Texas.

However, all these homes need to be designed a certain way don't they? After all, designs change throughout the years. Not every home is built for the current time.

Is Texas Doing A Good Job With Building Modern Homes?

The Steamboat Group put together the data to see who's leading the charge overall. Using three factors, they found the answer. Here are the three thing used to determine the list:

- Percentages of properties built after 2010
- Properties built from 2010
- Total number of properties

So Texas has a 22.50% percentage of properties that were constructed after 2010, with 2,495,270 of them existing. In total, 11,087,708 properties exist in the state.

So now the real question, where was Texas ranked? Well, everyone in the state will be glad to hear that Texas was ranked number one overall in the nation for the modern homes. So, looks like Texas is keeping with the times.
