Texas Lottery Launches New $2 Scratch Tickets for Veterans

Here's your chance to help out our nation's veterans.

The Texas Lottery has announced the newest $2 scratch ticket that supports the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans' Assistance.

It's called Double Match. It features six top prizes of $30,000 and more than $9.3 million in total prizes. The overall odds of winning are one in 4.47 for any prize, including break-even prizes.

“The Texas Lottery has contributed more than $77 million to the Fund for Veterans’ Assistance and we are proud to generate support for the 1.7 million Texas veterans across the state," Gary Grief, Executive director of the Texas Lottery, said about the new ticket.

Some of these programs that receive money from the fund provide financial assistance, transportation services, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder counseling and housing assistance.
