
Texas Pub Chain Now Declaring Bankruptcy And Massive Closures Again
Addison, Texas is an unincorporated are within the Dallas metro, and serves as the corporate headquarters for one of my favorite restaurant chains, and sadly the eatery that served as one of the very first date locations my now wife and I enjoyed has declared bankruptcy for the second time in the past five years.

I am not exaggerating, there are not many restaurants where I longingly fantasize about a specific menu item, but if you want the best pub appetizers with a signature martini, then this is the place for you. Hopefully, they will be able to revive following this second bankruptcy, and at least stay afloat in their home state of Texas.

According to this Restaurant Business article, Texas founded Bar Louie, that is celebrating 35 years of business this year, has once again filed for bankruptcy just over 5 years from doing it last in the beginning of 2020. Their financial struggles actually predates the Covid-19 shutdowns, and sadly they have not been able to find a solid footing since.

My wife Lindsay and I went to a Bar Louie for like our third ever date and if I never get loaded tots again, I would consider it almost as big of a loss than if my wife and I had never married and produced three children. I'll let you decide what percentage of that is a joke, but Bar Louie really does have the best bar appetizers ever and lets hope the chain can bounce back because the world deserves these incredible options.
