Recently in Harker Heights, Texas, a business that is very well known in the area unfortunately encountered a tragedy. Texas Skateland caught fire on July 4th, and many are wondering how to help. Here's what is known at the time of writing.

Texas Skateland Catches Fire, Answers Still Being Sought

As reported by KWTX, on July 4th, Texas Skateland was discovered to be found ablaze. The rink, located at the 200 block of Cox Drive, had firefighters sent to the area to put out the fire. Steven Morken was the individual who spotted the beginnings of the fire, and revealed that to KWTX:

“I was coming up front when I heard this loud popping noise and I turned around and saw a big fire...It was bright orange."

Steven lives in an apartment which is near the rink. He also part of the Morken family, who maintains and operates the business. He also mentions that the business had upgraded various parts, such as the air conditioning and the skates individuals use.

At the time of writing, no cause for the fire has been reported. Now with the building declared a total loss, as reported by KWTX, they need our help to rebuild.
