The Internet and TV are the Top Ranked Necessities of Modern Life

So what is the one thing you have now that you could not live without? Your Spouse?  The Good Kid? Flushing toilet ?

A British survey asked 2000 people to list the Bare Necessities of Modern Life . . . and the Internet and TV rank higher than friends or a good marriage.

The Internet connection came in first . . . television came in second . . . and a good best friend came in fourth.  Those all did better than a SOLID MARRIAGE, which only ranked ninth, below stuff like showers and central heating. Coffee, wine, beer, vacations, and iPhones also made the list.

Maybe if we lived in the Jungle we might think differently!
