Kim Williams, wife of former Kaufman County, Texas Justice of the Peace Eric Williams, has been arrested on capital murder charges. She is being held on $10 million bond.

The 46-year-old woman’s husband was arrested last week on charges of making a terroristic threat after a threatening email was traced back to him. The couple’s home was searched last weekend, as well as a storage facility that contained several firearms and a white car matching the description of one seen leaving the scene of the March 30 murders of Mike and Cynthia McLelland.

News of Mrs. Williams’ arrest comes two days after attorney David Sergi announced that he will no longer be representing Eric Williams. Williams is now the prime suspect in the murder of the McLellands, as well as the murder of Mark Hasse.

Hasse was the Assistant District Attorney in Kaufman County when he was gunned down a block from the Kaufman courthouse while walking to work on January 31 of this year. Mike McLelland was the District Attorney of Kaufman county. He and his wife were gunned down in the home over Easter weekend. The Kaufman county DA’s office prosecuted Eric Williams last year after he allegedly stole office computer equipment.
