Workers were evacuated from the construction site of Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood after a bomb threat was called in to the Fort Hood Emergency Call Center Tuesday morning.

The call was received between 9:00 and 9:15 in the morning, and workers were immediately evacuated. The initial search did not immediately uncover anything, but emergency crews and search teams remained on-site until approximately 9:30.

A 30-minute delay was ordered in the court martial of Maj. Nidal Hassan, accused Fort Hood gunman, but a III Corps spokesman said the threat would not impact the case.
