
Thursday Evening Shooting Victim in Killeen Flown to Hospital
An investigation is underway after a Thursday night shooting in Killeen.
KWTX reports that police spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez described the shooting victim as sustaining life-threatening injuries after the incident took place around 5:15 p.m. Thursday.
Police found the victim in the 1300 block of North 4th Street in Killeen.
The victim was seriously wounded and required a flight to Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. Police report the gunman fled the scene. Police had a description of the vehicle the shooter was believed to have fled in. Officers have since found the vehicle and have arrested a suspect.
More information is expected to be released as the investigation continues.
