Traffic Alert: Semi-Trailer Hits I-35 Barrier and Bursts Into Flames (MM315)
A semi trailer crashed into a barrier along southbound I-35 overnight and burst into flames! Traffic is slow in both directions this morning following the accident.
Our news partners at KWTX report that the accident happened near Bruceville-Eddy near exit 315 around 2:30 AM. Traffic was very slow in both directions through the early morning hours.First responders also cleared traffic from the northbound lane temporarily to remove debris. The driver of the truck was not seriously injured but was taken to Scott and White Hospital. Waco's hazmat team was on the scene as well.

As responders got that mess all cleaned up, a second accident happened just a couple miles down the road. The second crash required a call to the Lorena Fire Department as all the Bruceville-Eddy firefighters had their arms full with the first crash site.
First responders are still assessing the second crash at the time of this update. More details will be available later.
