Two Temple Wildcats Playoff Games Voted The Best Of 2016

The results are in and obviously central Texas stepped up and voted as the Temple Wildcats received two awards for "Best Playoff Game" and "Best State Title Game" from TexasHSFootball.com.

TexasHSFootball.com's "Best of the Year" poll is based on votes from fans all over Texas. Thousands of people voted, but clearly the Wildcat Nation voted even more.

The award for "Best Playoff Game" was awarded to Temple vs. Manvel. This game was one of the moments that launched the Wildcat playoff run to the 5A title. Check out some of the highlights here!

The award for "Best Title Game" was awarded to Temple vs Highland Park. The game was a defensive clinic won by Highland Park, and one that made even the biggest Texas football fans proud. It was great to have Temple photographer Joe Olivares along for the ride to share his fantastic photos from the season. It made the whole playoff push even greater to have his eyes on the field to give us great images like the ones below.
