New Unknown Dog Disease Details, As We Know Them Currently
According to KXAN, the disease has currently appeared in Colorado, New Hampshire, and in Oregon. In fact, 200 cases have been reported in the state of Oregon. KXAN lists symptoms of the disease as lethargy, nasal or eye discharge, sneezing, and coughing. The disease can also move fast, with dogs reportedly sick within a day.
The cause of the illness itself is still unknown, and investigations are still ongoing as to discover what it is. According to the Director of the Oregon Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory at Oregon State University, dog owners should make sure that their pups are all up to date on the immunizations.
