A Killeen man was injured on Halloween because another man was not feeling the Halloween spirit. A man was inside of his home on Halloween when he heard someone outside of his apartment "making a lot of noise". What happened next was scarier than any costume worn that night.

The victim had been hearing the man making quite a ruckus outside of his residence, so he opened the door of his apartment to find out what all of the commotion was about.  The assailant told the man that "he did not celebrate Halloween". Apparently, the man did not care which holidays the assailant celebrated so he told him to "shut up" before shutting the door in his face.

When the door was closed the assailant punched through the victim's window. The victim made the decision to open the door once again, and at that point the assailant was holding a knife pointed at him. The resident tried to keep the man from attacking him, but he was injured none the less. Eventually the assailant ended his attack and dropped his knife.

The assailant was located later by police. He had to be treated for a cut that he had sustained himself. Anthony Demetrius Shaw, Jr was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Shaw, Jr has a bond set at $100,000.
