There are many airports in the state of Texas, with many flying to places inside the state and outside of the state. But, the Waco airport was an airport that offered free parking. That however is changing soon.

When Did Discussions Begin About Charging For Parking In Waco?

According to KWTX, back in March 2025, conversations were being had about how the Airport could become more self-sustainable. At the time, Waco Regional Airport used the general fund from the city to keep things working. But, some believed with a few changes, the airport wouldn't need to do so for much longer.

The airport has several places of businesses inside it, but there was still work to be done. One the of proposed ideas was none other than making travelers pay for parking. The fee put forth was five dollars a day for daily parking at the airport.
