Some people walk away from an argument. Others floor it in reverse, swing into a driveway, and hit their boyfriend with a car. That is what police say happened in Waco, because apparently yelling just was not getting the point across.

Verbal Argument, Physical Vehicular Problem

According to police, 36-year-old Jennifer Morosky and her man were arguing in the car. That argument got so intense that he decided the best option was to exit the vehicle and walk away. She, being the picture of calm and rational behavior, decided to follow him with her car like a real-life episode of Jerry Springer: Fast and Furious Edition.

Backing Up... Into Trouble

Witnesses told police they saw the man walking and yelling, waving his arms like he was trying to land a plane or swat a bee with a vendetta. As he turned to walk away, Morosky allegedly whipped her car around, gunned it, and accidentally on purpose hit him. He tried to dodge, but you know, cars are still faster than people. Shockingly, he ended up bleeding and needed surgery.

Her Side of the Story (and the Car)

Morosky told police they had been staying at her mom’s house, which already screams emotional stability. She said the man went through her phone, and when he woke up feeling feisty, he started the fight. According to her, he punched her car’s mirror before storming off, and she only meant to scare him with the car, not actually connect. Great plan. Who among us has not played a quick game of "Automobile Chicken" to settle a relationship spat?

The Aftermath and Bond Money Budgeting

To her credit, Morosky did drive him to the hospital after realizing vehicular manslaughter was bad PR. Unfortunately for her, police decided “oops” was not a strong enough legal defense. She is now charged with aggravated assault and sitting on a $25,000 bond, which is probably not coming out of her punch card at Jiffy Lube.
The moral of the story is, if your argument reaches the point where someone is running from your car, it might be time to stop dating and start therapy.
