Warning: All Speeders will be Ticketed on 195 at SH 201 Today in Killeen

Ya’ll need to stop speeding through the Construction Zone at 195 and 201, you know the Southern part of Killeen near Texas A and M.   Yes,  that’s  a construction  zone you have been whizzing through.  The speed limit there has been reduced from 70 down to 55.   Oh yeah, sounds familiar now right?   Well too many people have been going too fast over that way so the Killeen Police Department will be handing out speeding tickets to everybody who breaks the law over there today, June 20.  Nice of them to give you a heads up.  The signs should be warning enough, but if you fail to heed them, and the police catch you speeding today,  you will get a ticket.  Don’t even think about trying to talk your way out of it. This a special detail for Thursday, of course Police can give you a ticket any day of the week!

The KPD Press Release said, the primary reason for this enforcement detail is to educate you about  the speed limits and the hazards in this area.

One more time, ALL MOTORISTS EXCEEDING THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT WILL BE CITED.
