Rolling Stone magazine is showcasing their "Future of Music" showcase for the third time at South by Southwest (SXSW) this year. The festival will take place March 7-15, and the showcase will be hosted at the Moody Theater March 11-14.

Country music fans will be delighted to learn that Megan Moroney will be headlining the event on March 2nd. This will be the only opportunity to catch the "Am I Okay" singer in Central Texas. Her tour will stop in Grand Prairie outside of Fort Worth, but that's as close as she'll get to us besides the SXSW festival this Year.

Moroney was born in Savannah, GA in 1997. The 27-year-old singer grew up listening to country music and her father how to play guitar. While she was going to college at the University of Georgia, she interned for Sugarland singer Kristian Bush.

Another artist to be on the lookout for at this year's festival is Koe Wetzel. Wetzel will be performing at the Billboard Presents The Stage at SXSW on March 13. Koe will be stopping in Corpus Christi on March 15th and Houston in June, so unless you want to travel at least 3 hours this will be your only opportunity to see him in Texas this year.

There will be plenty of other shows and events to check out at this year's SXSW, but you definitely don't want to miss out on the chance to see two of country's most popular artists.
