Wind Advisory Issued For Bell County Today

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Bell County until Midnight tonight.

Winds will keep up around 25 mph today with gusts at times between 30 to 40 mph along a line from Gatesville to Killeen. Hold on to your trash cans and patio furniture!

These winds will also make travel on US 190 interesting as these strong gusts of wind will be blowing across the highway and could make driving difficult for high profile vehicles and 18-wheelers. The wind will also make waters very choppy on area lakes today. Please use caution. A Lake wind advisory has also been issued for central Texas lakes until midnight.
