To discover the answer, we turn to data collected by Sudoku Bliss from the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics in April 2025. Unfortunately, Texas has two airports in the top ten for delays. Yes, one Texas airport was the worst in the nation as well.

So which was the worst airport in Texas that took the top spot? None other than Dallas Fort Worth International. In April 2025, 25,733 flights left the airport, with a staggering 19 minutes and 12 seconds average in delay time.

George Bush Intercontinental Houston placed fifth on the list, with having less flight depart at 13,699 and a delay time average of an even 12 minutes. Hopefully though, there will be less delays in the future!
