Fourteen bodies have been recovered after the explosion at the fertilizer plant in West, Texas last week.  Friday the 83 year old owner of the plant, Donald Adair issued a statement expressing  sympathy and vowing to help determine what caused the fire and explosion.

Over the weekend some West residents were allowed to return to their homes.  Those furthest away from the blast site are being allowed  in first.

According to KWTX ,  West Mayor Pro-tem Steve Vanek announced Sunday afternoon that Phase 2 of the reentry zone is open. People living from Oak St. to Spring St. are allowed to go back to their homes.

The same rules for Phase 1 will apply to Phase 2. Homeowners may have only two cars in the area.
