Spoiler: The Disney Afternoon lineup dominates this list.

Growing up, there was nothing better than coming home from a long day of elementary school and settling in for an afternoon of your favorite tv shows. No one had iphones or Facebook to occupy their time. Instead, we were more concerned with when Doug would finally tell Patty Mayonnaise how he felt, or daydreaming about Tommy, the Green (turned White) Power Ranger. In honor of those more innocent times now passed, we've rounded up 12 of our favorite theme songs that will instantly transport you back to your childhood. Check out the list below!

 SESAME STREET

The OG of kids' shows, and probably the first tv show most of us watched as kids. Also, Big Bird> Elmo. It needed to be addressed.

CHIP AND DALE RESCUE RANGERS

Part of the Disney Afternoon lineup, and one of my fav cartoons as a kid. Team Chip or team Dale?

MR. ROGERS NEIGHBORHOOD

Oh, you're gonna play a clip of Mr. Rogers? BRB, I think I have something in my eye. But for real, I can't watch videos of Fred Rogers without getting teary eyed. Love you, Mr. Rogers!

 DUCKTALES

Another Disney Afternoon gem. Who didn't want to jump into a pool of gold coins after seeing this show?

DOUG

There were two versions of this show, both Disney and Nickelodeon. In both versions, we desperately wanted Doug to man up and make a move on Patti Mayo.

DARKWING DUCK

Full disclosure, I had a crush on DW. Is that weird? Well I was 3, so I don't really care. In fact, I even had a DWD 4th birthday party, and it was awesome.

POWER RANGERS

Speaking on crushes, who didn't have one on one of the Power Rangers? In kindergarten, my BFF and I would fight over who got to be the Pink Ranger, bc obvi all the boys loved her.

TALESPIN

Umm, it was like Jungle Book, except they wear clothes. What's not to love about a show where Baloo is the star?

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

Cowabunga! Everyone had their fav TMNT. Mine was Raphael. I appreciated his bad boy attitude and snarky comments at a young age.

 ARTHUR

We actually started watching this show only because my little brother's name was Arthur. Apparently that's all it takes to cultivate interest in a show when you are 8.

THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR

This theme song had me convinced I had mad rap skills at age 7. In fact, try uttering the phrase: "In West Philadelphia Born and Raised..." around a group of 20 somethings, and be prepared for the awesomeness that follows.
