Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $3,000 for the arrest of Humberto Carreon Acosta, and $2,000 reward for Arthur Kennedy Stevenson.

Sex Offenders in Texas

Humberto Carreon Acosta of Pharr, Texas has been wanted since December 2020 for aggravated sexual assault involving a 4-year-old child by the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office. He is also wanted for possession of child pornography and failure to register as a sex offender. Acosta is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 195 pounds.

Arthur Kennedy Stevenson of Fort Worth has been wanted since last January for failure to register as a sex offender. In March 2021, the Parker County Sheriff’s Office issued three warrants for Stevenson’s arrest for probation violations. He has also been convicted of possession of child pornography. Stevenson is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds.

Crime Stoppers Rewards

To be eligible for cash rewards, tipsters are required to provide information to authorities using one of these methods:

  • Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477)
  • Submit a tip online through the DPS website. Select the fugitive you have information about, then click the link under their picture.
  • Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the SUBMIT A TIP link (under the 'About' section)

All tips are anonymous no matter how they are submitted. When you submit a tip, you will be given a tip number for reference, instead of using your name. As a reminder, these fugitives are considered armed and dangerous. Never try to apprehend a fugitive yourself.
