Next month, Texans can go on safari in Brazos County at the new Aggieland Adventure Zoo & Safari Park now set to open on May 9th of 2019.

Aggieland Safari's owners are owned and operated by organizations whose love for animals matches their dedication to land conservation. The park is going to have a drive-through safari, a wildlife center, and a covered pavilion. Visitors can walk with the animals on 20 acres of the park. It will be something that can be enjoyed by park guests of all ages.

According to Aggieland's website, you really can get out and walk with the Animals. It's described as an up-close walk-through animal experience. The kids will love it because they can actually feed the kangaroos, tortoises, otters, birds, and giraffes! This alone will make it the best day ever.

Guests can also relax in the pavilion while the kids enjoy the games and playground and activity area. Chow? Of course, there is a restaurant inside. Check out the grub at the Savannah Grill while you overlook the giraffes and Lemur Island. You can even grab a beer and watch the sunset.

Aggieland will open near Highway 21 in Kurten on 250 acres.
