A very scary situation occurred recently in Arlington, Texas. According to NBC DFW, an individual went to a car dealership armed and with intentions to harm. Individuals both inside and outside the building recorded video of the harrowing experience.

Details And Video Of The Incident

NBC DFW reports that law enforcement was called to Vandergriff Honda around the time of 6:30 PM due the previously mentioned individual. Reports indicated that individual, Abbas Al-Mutairy, was a former employee of the establishment.

In addition, video of individuals outside the building surfaced, and we must caution viewers, strong language is found in the video:

Thankfully however, reports have provided slight relief in terms of the health of employees.

Police Response

NBC DFW reports that police faced Abbas after he exited the building.  Abbas then proceeded to move towards officers, which caused officers to fire at him. According to the news organization, Police in Arlington believe seven officers fired at Abbas.

Abbas, after being shot, was taken to an unidentified hospital, with his condition at the time of writing as critical. Abbas has also been charged with two counts of aggravated assault against a public servant and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with more charges possible following further investigation.

NBC DFW also reports that Arlington Police is also investigating if their officers followed department policy during the incident.
