If you're a golf aficionado, you probably love going to events when they happen close to you. Seeing professionals in your favorite sport is something many dream of doing. So, when an event comes to Austin that involves the PGA tour, some are understandably thrilled.

As reported by KXAN, the PGA tour is coming back to the capital of Texas. The PGA Tour, left the city in 2023, but is now back again. The event will be known as the Good Good Championship, aptly named after the sponsor, Good Good. It will be played at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa’s Fazio Canyons Course.

What Did The PGA Tour Say About The Event Coming To Austin?

PGA TOUR Chief Competitions Officer, Tyler Dennis, said in a statement that they organization was thrilled to make its reappearance in the capital:

“The PGA TOUR is proud to return to the great City of Austin for the first time since 2023 for the Good Good Championship, an exciting new event as part of the FedExCup Fall...We are pleased to partner with Good Good Golf and Omni Hotels & Resorts on this unique event as the PGA TOUR further connects and engages with our game’s younger fans.”

The competition itself will take to the fairways in November 2026, going from the ninth until the sixteenth.
