Trey the Choklit Jok has succeeded in producing and hosting dynamic radio since the age of 16. Trey’s passion for radio has superseded anything he could have imagined. His career began as a high school sports reporter on WGCI-Chicago. He became an associate producer of their morning show, which led into him becoming a weekend host, and eventually becoming a full-time night host at crosstown rival WPWX-Power 92 for 5 years. Trey introduced the “Trey the Choklit Jok Morning Jumpoff on Power 92”, a morning show catered to young adults in the 18-34 demo. His daily morning show consistently ranked top 5 in the target demo and #1 consistently among men, waking up over 750,000 listeners daily. Trey went beyond his radio persona and shifted to TV as a weekly contributor to FOX Chicago’s Good Day Chicago, VH1’s Flavor of Love reunion, a co -host on “Know Your Heritage” - a national black history quiz show - and a street reporter for The Bud Billiken Day Parade seen nationwide. Since moving to Central Texas, Trey has brought that same energy and determination to deliver the best music and commentary to the good people of Killeen-Temple, making B106 the best local station not only for great music, but for information on the local events and happenings that matter to you.
