A man in Maryland was recently sentenced after police found evidence of his illegal prostitution business.

According to the Maryland Department of Justice, Robert Carl Diienno, age 32, was recently sentenced to two years in federal prison for the prostitution of three women.

Diienno "persuaded, enticed, induced, and coerced" three women to become prostitutes and cross state lines for sex work. Once the women obtained payment from a John they were required to transfer the money to Dienno by using apps like Paypal and Venmo.

Authorities found a "Ho Training Manual" at Diienno's residence in Laurel, MD. The residence also served as a group home for the victims and was referred to as "Duh Ho House." Officials found a variety of evidence stored right on Diienno's laptop. Documents titled "Ho Rules," and  "Pimp/Ho Contract" are some of the items that sealed Diienno's fate.

Police believe that Diienno prostituted at least three women from November 2016 to June 2017. Diienno's operation was discovered after the Laurel Police Department was called to the residence for a disturbance at that location. Two of the victims told Police that Diienno had assaulted the other member of their group because she would not, "walk the streets."

After the incident Diienno was arrested. Diienno will only serve two years in Federal prison and will spend another five years of supervised release, for enticing three victims to travel in interstate commerce for the purposes of prostitution.  Diienno must also register as a sex offender in the places where he resides, where he is an employee, and where he is a student, under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).

Do you feel like the punishment fits the crime? Should Diienno face more time for prostituting three women?
