Football season is right around the corner and Baylor fans will have an entirely new game day experience!

Baylor University Unveils Enhanced Fan Experience Upgrades at McLane Stadium for 2026 Season

Baylor University Athletics is launching a comprehensive overhaul of its gameday operations at McLane Stadium for the 2026 football season, introducing a suite of fan-focused enhancements. The "Fan First" program debuts on September 12 when the Bears open their home schedule against Prairie View A&M at 7:00 p.m.

Baylor Debuts the Waco Rush Pass

The biggest change Bear fans will see is the "Waco Rush" pass, a program offering discounted, exclusive single-game ticket opportunities. Baylor Athletics is reducing prices on core concession items, including hot dogs, popcorn, and soft drinks, while adding food items such as the cinnamon-topped "Bear Claw" featuring green-and-gold glazing.

Get Ready for Growl Towels

Baylor is also reintroducing its signature "Growl Towels" with unique designs for every home contest. The first 5,000 students and 500 registered alumni tent visitors will receive complimentary towels, with additional units available for purchase at bookstore kiosks and team stores for $1.

Expanded Tailgating and Live Entertainment

Big things are also planned for the game-day experience outside the gates. The "Baylor Backyard" footprint now features more affordable and flexible tailgating packages alongside a revamped, longer "Bear Walk" route that brings players and coaches closer to fans prior to kickoff. To further accommodate families, McLane Stadium will feature designated stroller parking zones.

Pregame Concerts

The outdoor zone will also host a series of free pregame concerts throughout the fall, headlined by Texas country artist Pat Green ahead of the Bears' September 26 matchup. Season packages and individual game tickets for the 2026 home campaign are available through Baylor's updated digital gameday portal.
