Waco, Texas will forever be one of the best college towns in America, and has been able to help elevate Baylor University onto the national stage in competitive sports with multiple national championships. Very soon, more student athletic scholarships will be available for Texas high school graduates with the hopes of expanding the Bears' dominance in competitive events.

By the end of this year, eSports are expected to be generating almost $2 billion, and the average full time professional gamer's salary will be approaching about $100 per hour. Esports makes a fantastic side hustle or a very relaxed full time job, just look out for carpal tunnel because I am not exactly sure how great or not good the medical benefits are.

According to this KCEN article, Baylor University has now named their very first director of eSports, and they have visions of dominating division one in the NCAA with their digital athletes. With an investment into the future and recruiting from another Baptist school of higher learning, future Bears can look forward to the opportunity to represent Baylor on a full ride eSports scholarship.

Adam Stanley established an incredible eSports program at Brewton-Parker College in Georgia, and now he has been named as the very first director of Baylor's eSports. The pieces are on the board for this Baylor Bears program, and this is an exciting first move.
