
Five Bell County Schools Earn National Recognition for Student Success
The Educational Results Partnership (ERP) is a non-profit organization that is working to close the equity gap between education and the labor market. They database of student achievement that spans from kindergarten into the labor market is the largest in the nation.
Bell County's Big Win: Schools on the Honor Roll!
This year there were five Bell County schools that were recognized by the ERP for outstanding academic performance. Three of those schools were in the in the Killeen Independent School District and the other two schools were in the Holland Independent School District.
Success Through Sharing: Educators Connect
By making the ERP Honor Roll these schools have been identified as having successful programs that result in their students achieving high levels of success. The program's focus is to help ensure that students everywhere, regardless of their background, receives the necessary tools for success.
Business & Education: A Powerful Partnership
ERP encourages the administrators and educators of the different school systems to communicate with each other and share their successes and failures. This communication helps the programs learn from one another by sharing their best policies and procedures.
Preparing for the Workforce: Business Leaders Take Note
Business leaders are also involved with the ERP Honor Roll due to the ERPs involvement with the National Campaign for Business and Education Excellence. This collaboration gives the business leaders an opportunity to know which schools are getting their students ready for the workforce.
College Credits in High School: Boosting Student Readiness
Students are also encouraged to earn credits for college while they are still in high school. This support from the ERP has helped improve college and career readiness.
