Belton High School Students Finish First at Leadership Conference
Let's hear it for these hard workin' Belton High School students who just finished in 1st place at the 2017 SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference in Louisville, KY.
KWTX reports The team of construction trade students finished 1st in the TeamWorks event at the conference. SkillsUSA happens every year to put the spotlight on students in technical programs. TeamWorks is a competition that asks students to build a structure over a three day window.
This is the 4th time Belton has won a State Title, and it's the 4th year in a row the school has qualified for Nationals.
The four who brought home the award to Belton ISD are: Chloe Bush, Allan Harlow, Joseph Hermann and Andres Zapata. All these top notch students will be working in their various trades between the school year and the fall. All 4 are headed to college in the fall.
