BREAKING: Belton, Texas High School Placed On Lockdown
The morning of April 19th, 2024, Lake Belton High School was placed on Lock down. Here's what is known at the time of writing.
Weapon Report At Lake Belton High School
Per a release from the Temple Police Department, At 8:29 AM on the morning of April 19th, law enforcement was alerted to a threat of weapon on the campus of Lake Belton High School. Officers placed a hold on the school, and investigated the area for the alleged weapon.
At the time of writing, no weapon was found. In addition, no weapon was found at Lake Belton High School. A juvenile, who is unidentified at the time of writing, was placed under arrest. According to the release, they are alleged to have made the phone call about the weapon.
As this is a developing story, we will have more information when it becomes available.
