Sports Illustrated put together a list of the top ten mascots in college football and the University of Texas's Bevo came out in fourth place.

This is a crime. What's ahead of the famous Longhorn? A tiger, wow that's original, a duck, yes a duck, and in the top spot the Georgia Bulldog. Okay, the bulldog is pretty cool, but don't these media guys have short memories? The last game the two teams played was against each other and Bevo proved he was the superior mascot before the game even started.

Bevo stays at this awesome ranch in Liberty Hill owned by John and Betty Baker. The Bakers are great folks, I grew up about five minutes away from their ranch and did some work for them in my youth.

So yeah I'm a little upset that Sports illustrated messed up big time. But hey, they could have picked the tree.
