The 2017 Canadian Country Music Awards will take place at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and will air on CBC.

The catchy "I'll Name the Dogs" finds Shelton singing about what life would look like married to his sweetheart, painting an image of a loving marriage where she'll "name the babies" and he'll "name the dogs." The song's equally precious video follows the journey of a dear elderly couple on their wedding day and features a shoutout to his girlfriend Gwen Stefani with the brief appearance of two of her kids, Kingston and Zuma, as wedding guests on the dance floor.
“‘I’ll Name The Dogs’ is a bit of a throwback song for me. It’s traditional country with fiddle and steel and I’ve got Jimmy Olander from Diamond Rio playing the guitar solo. It brings the sound back a little more traditional for a minute, which I felt like needed to happen musically for me," Shelton says in a press release.
He'll also co-host Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief in Nashville on Sept. 12 alongside Nashville native Reese Witherspoon.
