The eatery is none other than Home Slice Pizza. According to KXAN, it first opened in 2005. One of the founders, Jen Strickland, is amazed its been in business for that amount of time:

“It’s kind of unbelievable. I can’t believe 20 years have gone by like, in the blink of an eye...Super, super, super great feeling to have the support of the city, our customers and employees for this long, it’s really great.”

Over time, the business has seen many trends change, and of course they survived 2020, which was the year of COVID. So there's got to be something major planned for the 20 years of business right? Well, sometimes you have to look to the past for inspiration.

One event from the company's past is coming back to make its grand return. It's none other than the "Carnival O’ Pizza."

What Does The Carnival O' Pizza Event Have?

According to Eventbrite, the event is described as this:

“Get ready for an action-packed, family-friendly event featuring Home Slice exclusive games … we’re also bringing back the legendary Hands on an Eggplant Sub (H.O.E.S.) challenge, along with box-folding, dough-tossing, and of course, PIZZA EATING competitions!”
