If it's gone so far as DIY "Fix It" videos, then you know it's more than just a few people having issues with their lawnmowers fromSears.

Check out the feedback from Kathy about what happened when her family purchased a Craftsman riding lawnmower from Sears...

Call me old-fashioned, but if I make a purchase from any department store and the item doesn't work, since when do I have to attempt to fix the darn thing myself or with a repairman 3 times before they'll give me my money back? That's enough to make me consider making my purchase elsewhere, right there. Check out the what others said about Kathy's story.

Have you had a similar experience at a department store? Sears or anyone else? I remember as a kid growing up, my parents shopped at Sears all the time, as did my Grandparents. Nowadays, the headlines surrounding Sears are enough to scare you right into Home Depot or some other place.

Business Insider did a story last fall about this very thing. Their story included a post from a reader named Tilman Strickland who said, "When I walked into a Sears store 10 to 15 years ago I knew automatically that I would pay more for whatever I bought, but I was confident that it would be top quality. But today, I don't buy anything from Sears. The appliances are very cheaply made and won't last."

If you have had a similar experience with Sears or any other seemingly reputable retailer, we'd love for you to share your experience with us. Good or bad - leave your comments below on social media. We hope that Kathy's situation is resolved soon.
