Central Texas Bank Robber Sentenced to 3 Life Terms
A man who robbed 3 different banks has been sentenced to 3 life terms in prison.
Our partners at KWTX report that, Dallas Scott Bohanan, 25, was sentenced on Thursday for 3 bank robberies that took place in Waco, Hewitt, and Temple.
Bohanan told authorities that he was tired of working in fast food and that he wanted a better life.
Totally understandable. What's not understandable is why he felt the need to rob 3 different banks in order to do so.
Dallas Bohanan has been sentenced to three concurrent life terms in prison, and two concurrent 97-month terms. It's safe to assume that he won't be seeing the outside world anytime soon.
Bohanan has also been ordered to pay $12,000 in restitution and a $250,000 fine. The money will most likely never be paid, I mean the guy's going to prison for life, right?
Bohanan's string of robberies started in Waco on Nov. 15, 2016 at the Chase Bank on North New Road in Waco. Bohanan then robbed the Temple Santa Fe Community Credit Union on West Avenue A in Temple on Nov. 23, 2016. The last place Bohanan hit was in Hewitt where he also fired at officers while attempting to flee the scene.
Definitely not the brightest bulb around.
