Copperas Cove Man Charged With Assault

Miguel Angel Reyna has been charged with assault causing bodily injury/family violence by impeding breath or circulation.

Copperas Cove police responded to a report of domestic violence on Allen Street on Friday. Reyna was at the residence. He reported that he and another male got into an argument, and the man bit him on the arm.

Police caught up with the victim, who had left on foot. He stated that the argument was over money, and during the argument, Reyna climbed on top of him and began punching and choking him. He bit Reyna in self-defense when he could not breathe.

Reyna's bond was set at $15,000, but as of Monday he was not in Coryell County Jail.
