🚫 TDLR Revokes Thomas' License Pending Trial Outcome
Yesterday, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TLDR) formally revoked Thomas' license until a verdict and decision is obtained from the courts in regard to his court cases. His trial is scheduled to begin on September 15th of this year.
🗓️ August 2022 Incident: Victim Reports Inappropriate Touching
One of the charges stems from a victim in August of 2022. In that case, a 90-minute massaged was booked for her with Thomas performing the massage. The victim reported to the police that she was inappropriately touched by Thomas during the massage. She said that Thomas had previously performed multiple massages on her without incident. According to the affidavit she took one of his business cards when she left so that she would be able to file a report with his full name.
Arrested Prior for Massaging Restricted Areas; Denies Assault
Prior to the incident that occurred in August of 2022, Thomas was arrested in May of 2022 after he massaged a client in areas of her body that she had indicated on paperwork that she did not want to be massaged. Prior to the TDLR revoking his license yesterday, Thomas was still allowed to work as a licensed massage therapist despite the legal accusations against him. This is a long overdue action that will hopefully keep more Texas women safe against sexual assault.
