Netflix’s ‘Tower’, a documentary about the 1966 mass shooting at UT perpetrated by Charles Whitman, has a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes and critical acclaim, so why have so few people seen it?

It's just not something that seems to have made the rounds yet. Just watching the trailer above made me want to check out this documentary next time I'm on Netflix. Of the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, those who have seen 'Tower' enjoyed the way it explained the event from multiple perspectives.

The documentary captures re-staged footage and combines it with black and white news coverage from the actual events, including memories from survivors and witnesses. With all the stuff on Netflix, you can do a lot worse than checking out this documentary.

It really shows how the incident had the entire Austin campus at a stand still 51 years ago.
